What this index is
Every entry was written to answer one question: what is this building, and what would it be like to stay in it. There are no star ratings here, no guest reviews, no prices and no booking engine — those exist in plenty of other places and are better handled there.
The four categories were chosen because they describe genuinely different propositions. A capsule hotel and an art hotel are not competing for the same night. Where a category is short, it stays short.
